Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on HNWIs and various entity structures. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the firm’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for HNWIs, S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, nonprofits, and trusts/estates.
- Conduct tax research and provide advisory services to clients regarding tax implications and strategies.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and timely communication.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support on tax matters and professional development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations, proactively communicating changes to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive service offerings.
- Assist in managing the tax workflow to ensure deadlines are met and work is of the highest quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation or related preferred.
- CPA certification required.
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in a CPA firm, with a focus on HNWIs and various business entities.
- Strong technical skills in tax compliance and planning, particularly in S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, nonprofits, and trusts/estates.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
