Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our commercial construction projects, specializing in tenant improvement (TI) work. With over 15 years of experience in the Atlanta area, the ideal candidate will bring an extensive understanding of the region’s construction landscape, and a proven ability to manage diverse teams and complex projects with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with quality standards.
  • Oversee tenant improvement (TI) work, ensuring client-specific needs are met with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and maximize profitability.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards, with a particular focus on Atlanta-area requirements.
  • Mentor and develop staff, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities, delivering solutions to mitigate challenges and enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial construction operations, with a strong focus on tenant improvement work.
  • Deep knowledge of the Atlanta construction market, including vendor networks, local regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record of successful project management, team leadership, and client satisfaction.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
