We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 6+ years of experience in the automotive and/or conveyance industries. This role involves leading mechanical design projects from concept through production, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, tooling, and equipment for production and R&D.
• Lead project planning, execution, and technical direction.
• Produce detailed designs using AutoCAD Inventor, CATIA, and MicroStation.
• Support installation, integration, and testing of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with controls engineers, vendors, and field teams.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, GD&T, and industry regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% as needed for project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proven track record in the automotive or conveyance sectors.
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools, GD&T, and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Relevant certifications or licenses a plus.
