Position Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. This position requires strong technical expertise, proven project management skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the engineering and design of electrical systems across a variety of project types
  • Perform system calculations and detailed design for large and complex projects
  • Develop construction documents, including plans, schematics, one-line diagrams, specifications, and system narratives
  • Conduct equipment selection, load calculations, system layouts, and field investigations
  • Prepare due diligence and feasibility reports
  • Participate in coordination meetings with clients, architects, and other consultants
  • Provide construction administration support as needed
  • Maintain close collaboration with internal engineering and design teams
  • Ensure quality control, technical accuracy, and adherence to applicable codes and standards

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
  • 10+ years of experience within a consulting engineering environment
  • Strong design experience with electrical distribution systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes
  • Demonstrated project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
