We are working with an established consulting engineering firm looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the engineering of systems for a variety of projects
• Perform calculations and design of systems for large projects
• Create plans, schematics, equipment selection, load calculations, systems narratives and specifications, system design and layout, field investigation and construction administration
• Prepare due diligence and feasibility reports
• Attend meetings with other consultants and clients to coordinate the company’s portion of the project
• Work in close contact with the design team

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Engineer, LEED AP preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience working in a consulting engineering firm
• Piping and Central Plant Experience, Boilers, Chillers, Process Piping
• Design experience in HVAC systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• MS Word and Excel
