We are seeking a motivated HVAC Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of commercial and residential ground-up construction projects.

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Senior Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day management of HVAC construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field personnel
  • Help manage project schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Track material deliveries and assist with procurement coordination
  • Attend project meetings and maintain meeting notes/action items
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice review processes
  • Monitor project progress and assist in resolving field-related issues
  • Ensure projects comply with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures
  • Communicate updates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Assist with punch list completion and project closeout documentation

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in HVAC construction, mechanical contracting, or construction project coordination
  • Exposure to commercial and/or residential construction projects
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems, construction processes, and project management principles
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
