Our client, a highly reputable NYC real estate investment firm, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee property accounting duties for a portfolio of retail, office and multifamily properties. The company offers great benefits and a friendly, collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Senior Property Accountants, review key reconciliations, and coordinate data flow between cross-functional business units.
• Review financial statements as well as AR/AP.
• Manage expense reconciliations, track aging ledgers, and deliver consolidated reports to leadership.
• Review and distribute monthly partner packages, credit facility compliance metrics, and executive internal financial files.
• Oversee contract onboarding inputs, regular service reconciliation processes, and client escrow accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
• Approximately 8+ years of accounting experience.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment scaling corporate systems.
• Proficiency in Yardi, MRI or a similar software
