Our client, a manufacturing company in California is seeking an AR Representative. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual who will play a vital role in maintaining AR records for the company. They expect significant growth leading to opportunities for promotion within the group.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the running of all Accounts Receivable daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Reconcile customer payments to their open account balance
- Process ACH payments
- Process checks by fax payments
- Process credit applications
- Reply to trade references
- Apply customer payments to their open account
- Assist customers and employees by providing information and answering questions over the telephone, e-mail and in person related to customer accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 2 – 5 years of related experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail
