Our client, an engineering and consulting firm based in Chicago, is looking to hire a Civil Engineering Associate to assist with several projects they have in the pipeline. They are a trusted advisor for clients ranging from the Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Tollway, to the City of Chicago.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD software
- Conduct site investigations and surveys as needed to support design work
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that drawings and specifications are accurate and meet project requirements
- Review and interpret project specifications, construction drawings, and other project documentation
- Participate in project meetings and consult with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting using AutoCAD software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
