Our client, a prestigious global Real Estate Organization, is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to support their VP. This person will be involved in all capital-raising efforts including interacting with institutional and high-net-worth investors. This role offers close mentorship and significant potential for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Enable successful real assets fundraises by providing support to the senior members of the team
- Provide deep product knowledge and expertise
- Support the entire investment lifecycle, including fundraising and LP communications, and create and maintain marketing materials including presentations, and investor updates and assist in developing written marketing materials, including presentations and Requests for Proposals
- Periodically perform the above-listed tasks in an investor-facing capacity
- Understand and analyze industry trends and the competitive landscape
- Source and analyze industry research related to fundraising or supporting data around fundraising strategy and rationale
- Drive the engagement and alignment across the business with key stakeholders and partners to execute the fundraising strategy
- Develop and maintain professional relationships
- Coordination and logistics of client events, onsite meetings, webinar events, investor conference
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA/CFA preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in capital markets, investor relations, investment banking, or investment management
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel
