Job Description:

Our client, a restaurant group, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead operations for 20+ company-owned restaurants and oversee the launch of new locations annually.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct day-to-day restaurant operations, including staffing, food sourcing, inventory, and menu development.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards while optimizing workflows and layouts.
  • Develop and implement policies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Implement technology to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention in partnership with People + Culture teams.
  • Lead high-performing teams through clear guidance, training programs, and performance management.
  • Monitor sales, costs, and profitability metrics; develop strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Partner with the leadership team to execute long-term strategic plans for growth, including franchising initiatives.
  • Collaborate on site selection, marketing opportunities, and budget development.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant operations.
  • Proven success in both full-service and fast-casual restaurant environments.
  • Experience in financial management and reporting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Travel is between 50-75%
