A leading construction firm is hiring on for a Safety Manager to support a project in West Texas. This individual will oversee and manage the site safety program while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations. The Safety Manager will also play a key role in educating and training project staff to maintain a strong culture of safety across the jobsite.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of safety experience within the building construction industry
- OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with project staff and subcontractor safety representatives
- Develop and maintain accurate safety reports, documentation, and accident investigation reports
- Provide and participate in safety training for staff and subcontractors
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner with owners, subcontractors, and project partners
- Develop and deliver safety training programs aligned with project schedules and site-specific risks
- Ensure jobsite compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations
