Controller – Summary
The Controller is the senior financial leader for the site, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role provides strategic financial insights to support operational performance and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting functions, including AR, GL, inventory, and financial reporting to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting; deliver clear financial insights to site leadership.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close, inventory controls, capital project reporting, and audit support.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on pricing, cost analysis, and operational decision-making.
- Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 5+ in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred); advanced Excel skills.
