Our client is a leader in the defense industry and is expanding their operations with new facilities around the country. They are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the division of around $100MM in revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance financial reports, metrics, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership on projects and operational improvements.
  • Coordinate annual budget and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee analyses of acquisitions, investments, and real estate considerations.
  • Support policy-making decisions for sales, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Manage capital acquisition approval process and monitor spending.
  • Develop and mentor financial team members.
  • Ensure accuracy in overseeing financial transactions.
  • Provide financial analysis tools for programs and projects.
  • Lead internal and external audits, coordinating requirements.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting to Corporate.


  • Excel in a fast-paced private equity environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA desirable.
  • Minimum five years of finance/accounting experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong expertise in GAAP and recent changes.
  • Experience in ERP systems implementation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Previous successful leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Government Accounting standards and regulations experience is a plus.
