Our client is a growing manufacturer within the industrial energy space. They are looking to triple their growth over the next few years and are adding to their accounting team.


  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Manage the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate projections.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, including board members, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of X years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with IPO preparation or public company accounting is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in financial reporting and business practices.
