A property management firm is seeking a Director of Engineering and Maintenance. This leadership role oversees all engineering and maintenance functions across the portfolio, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant operations of properties. The Director will manage maintenance teams, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, and oversee capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance programs for portfolio-wide efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee a team of maintenance and engineering staff, ensuring optimal performance and quick response to repair needs.
• Collaborate on budget planning for maintenance operations and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes, especially HUD and affordable housing standards.
• Coordinate with property management to enhance resident satisfaction through prompt, high-quality service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance or engineering management, with at least 5 years in affordable housing.
