Overview:

One of the largest industrial suppliers in the country experiencing double-digit growth is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecast processes.
• Lead a team in consolidating, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data.
• Generate management reports and implement improvements to ensure consistency in reporting across all business units.
• Utilize data to extract valuable insights, process it, and effectively communicate findings visually and verbally to team members and management throughout the organization. This may involve analyzing large volumes of data from multiple databases.
• Conduct end-to-end analysis, including gathering requirements, data processing, analysis, delivering ongoing reports, and creating presentations.
• Translate data analytics into clear visualizations and concise presentations.
• Fulfill ad hoc requests for reports, dashboards, or analysis from various levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
• Support users across the organization by answering questions, providing recommendations, and offering a transparent view of priorities and progress.
• Develop and maintain ROI models for strategic investments.
• Perform variance analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to identify the key drivers behind significant variances.
• Engage stakeholders in periodic business unit/departmental reviews, challenging them on variances in financial performance and KPIs.
• Continuously explore opportunities to automate tasks, enabling the function to scale as the business expands.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required.
• Experience required: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial analyst or related role with duties including analysis, business intelligence, and reporting. Experience in a distribution environment a plus.
• Required software: Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools, SQL, Excel, Power Point.
