We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder to join our growing automation team. This role is responsible for the mechanical assembly, build, and integration of custom automated machinery and robotic systems in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of custom automation equipment and robotic cells
- Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials
- Assemble frames, tooling, conveyors, guarding, and precision components
- Install pneumatic systems, linear motion components, bearings, and drive systems
- Collaborate with electrical and controls teams during machine integration
- Assist with machine testing, debugging, and system start-up
- Support disassembly, crating, and installation at customer sites as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of machine building or industrial mechanical assembly experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Experience working in a project-based or custom equipment environment
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems and mechanical alignment practices
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Willingness to work overtime and travel occasionally for installations
