Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians (mechanical, electrical, and/or controls)
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Respond to and prioritize corrective maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Ensure maintenance activities support production schedules and quality requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and safety teams to improve equipment reliability
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory
  • Support installation, commissioning, and modification of manufacturing equipment
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety policies, including lockout/tagout and hot work procedures
  • Manage outside contractors and service providers as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in metal processing, powder metallurgy, or heavy manufacturing
  • 2+ years of supervisory or lead maintenance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Experience working in safety-critical manufacturing environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
