Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects from sitework through project completion. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily field operations, maintaining project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring high-quality execution throughout all phases of construction.

This role requires a strong field leader who can drive schedules, solve problems proactively, and maintain effective communication with project teams, ownership groups, and trade partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all onsite construction activities for multifamily projects
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and short-interval planning
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure code compliance
  • Lead site safety efforts and maintain OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily subcontractor coordination meetings
  • Ensure quality control and workmanship standards are met
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on budgeting, procurement, and scheduling
  • Maintain project documentation including daily reports and progress tracking
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays
  • Drive project completion while maintaining schedule and budget goals

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience in multifamily construction
  • Experience with ground-up podium, wrap, garden-style, or high-density multifamily projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and building systems
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced schedules
  • Proficient with construction management software and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • Stable work history with successful project delivery experience

  • Wood-frame multifamily over podium construction
  • Large-scale apartment communities
  • Occupied renovations or phased turnover experience
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $20M–$100M+
