Thanks to a stable pipeline and aggressive growth plans, the New Jersey office is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team.

The Job

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of assigned projects including scheduling, budgeting, and field personnel in addition to managing change orders and RFIs. Additional responsibilities include:

• Performs all problem-solving activities, coordinates with consultants, subcontractors and field personnel
• Represents company professionally in project meetings
• Runs strategy meetings
• Interprets and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff and clients as needed
• Formulates reports concerning work progress, cost and scheduling
• Works with superintendents and construction managers to plan, organize and direct construction activities

Required knowledge + experience

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of Construction experience with 3 years of involvement as Project Manager
• Thorough knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles and techniques
• Experience with Tilt wall or Tilt up and prefabrication construction process
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules
• Must be assertive and display a sense of urgency, motivation, confidence, and be a self-starter
