Summary

Our client, a boutique NYC General Contractor, is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join their growing team to help deliver high-quality Interiors projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NYC area construction principles and practices, as well as experience managing / coordinating a team of APMs and Superintendents while interacting with high end clients.

For almost 30 years, our client has consistently worked with the area’s top property owners to build out and renovate a variety of Interiors projects. As a smaller company they put an emphasis on people, both clients and employees, to deliver projects with the highest quality. Additional details below:

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout
• Develop, maintain, and communicate schedule throughut project
• Work with Superintendent to manage and coordinate field personnel, deliveries, and safety
• Ensure that projects meet all quality standards
• Interact with clients and vendors to ensure smooth project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, previous experience with NYC Interiors projects required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
