Our client is seeking a QA/QC Manager to help ensure their products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and eager to make an impact on products (consumer kitchen electrics brand) that families use every day. This role is on-site Monday-Thursday (work from home on Fridays) in Newark, New Jersey.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards, testing procedures, and documentation.
- Create and execute testing plans to confirm product performance and compliance.
- Investigate customer returns and warranty claims to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Track and resolve open or past-due return inquiries with urgency.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Customer Service, and overseas manufacturing teams to drive product improvements.
- Conduct regular product performance audits and maintain all quality and compliance data.
- Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Control, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality control or product testing.
- Proven experience developing and implementing QC/QA standards and inspection procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electrical product safety and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Collaborative, proactive mindset with excellent communication skills.
