We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to our continued success by managing key financial functions and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately, and perform monthly reconciliations of accounts.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and product cost allocation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee AP/AR processes, including reviewing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and provide monthly variance analysis to management, identifying any significant discrepancies or trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and tax regulations; assist with external audits and manage corporate tax filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus).
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment (plus).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
