Well-established and highly reputable real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to handle a portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties. This position will be reporting to a friendly and supportive manager and provide significant potential for growth.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare GAAP based financial statements for assigned portfolio

· Prepare monthly workpapers and reporting packages

· Interface with investors and lenders

· Maintain cash forecast model and monitor cash flow

· Assist in budget preparation and review

· Assist in year-end audit process

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

· Minimum of 2-5 years of audit and/or accounting experience in real estate

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent Excel skills

· Knowledge of Yardi, MRI or similar software is preferred
