Well-established and highly reputable real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to be responsible for a portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use properties. 9-5 hours, and work from home 2-3 days per week!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare GAAP based financial statements for assigned portfolio
• Prepare monthly workpapers and reporting packages
• Interface with investors and lenders
• Maintain cash forecast model and monitor cash flow
• Assist in budget preparation and review
• Assist in year-end audit process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Audit and/or accounting experience in real estate
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong computer skills including Excel
• Knowledge of Yardi, MRI or similar software is preferred
