Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on HNWIs and various entity structures. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the firm’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for HNWIs, S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, nonprofits, and trusts/estates.
  • Conduct tax research and provide advisory services to clients regarding tax implications and strategies.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and timely communication.
  • Oversee and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support on tax matters and professional development.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulations, proactively communicating changes to clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive service offerings.
  • Assist in managing the tax workflow to ensure deadlines are met and work is of the highest quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation or related preferred.
  • CPA certification required.
  • 5+ years of progressive tax experience in a CPA firm, with a focus on HNWIs and various business entities.
  • Strong technical skills in tax compliance and planning, particularly in S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, nonprofits, and trusts/estates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
