Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Support the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed
  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate properties.
  • Generate financial reports to assist management in making informed business decisions.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes for real estate transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets for real estate projects.
  • Collaborate with management to provide financial forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Monitor cash flow for real estate projects and ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Address audit inquiries and implement audit recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1+ years experience in corporate accounting preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
