Job Title: Site Superintendent

Department: Construction

Reports To: Project Manager

Summary:

Our client is a growing player in the Affordable Housing market with a special focus on Occupied Renovations. With a proven track record in this space and a strong backlog of projects, the client is ready to expand their team in the Chicago market. The Superintendent I will work closely with the Sr Super, PM, property managers, and residents to assure the project runs smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all onsite activities of construction projects from concept through completion
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed
• Maintain the highest standards of quality
• Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and subcontractors
• Approve or reject work as it is completed
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with plans and specifications
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
• Maintain accurate records of all project activities
• Prepare and submit reports to the project manager and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management
• Affordable housing or occupied renovation experience a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits:

• Salary: $75,000 to $90,000
