Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. In this client-facing role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality tax services while maintaining a focus on client relationships and engagement. This hybrid position offers flexibility, allowing you to work from home and in our Fort Washington office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
  • Tax Preparation & Planning: Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, nonprofits, S-Corps, and C-Corps, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough tax research to provide strategic planning advice, addressing unique client needs and circumstances.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring quality in deliverables.
  • Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals, presenting tax strategies and solutions clearly and effectively.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on tax law changes and best practices, proactively sharing knowledge with the team and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning for HNWIs, partnerships, nonprofits, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
