Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting our strategic initiatives by providing in-depth financial analysis, market research, and investment recommendations. This position requires a strong understanding of real estate finance, land development processes, and acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling and analysis for land acquisition and development projects, including feasibility studies and pro forma evaluations.
  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities and assess risks and returns associated with various development projects.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the acquisitions team to analyze market trends, property valuations, and competitive landscape.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning processes by providing insights on cost management and investment strategies.
  • Monitor project performance and provide ongoing financial oversight to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for new acquisitions, including financial assessments and scenario analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial databases and reporting tools to streamline analysis and reporting.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions affecting land development in the Greater Orlando area.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, real estate development, or investment analysis, preferably within the land development sector.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools (Excel, Argus, or similar software).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of the Greater Orlando real estate market and land development regulations is a plus.
