Our client, a well-established Family Office, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for various family investments, trusts, and real estate assets.
- Oversee and manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Track and record investments, including private equity, securities, real estate, and alternative investments, ensuring accurate valuations and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team to develop, monitor, and update budgets and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors for tax planning, preparation, and compliance for family members, trusts, and entities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in family office, real estate, or investment management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
