We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift CNC Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of skilled workers. This role requires strong leadership abilities, mechanical knowledge, and a solid understanding of manufacturing practices.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the production floor to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage the workflow of the assembly line, ensuring timely completion of production goals.
• Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, including CNC machines, flexo presses, and press brake machines.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes through CAD and CAM programming.
• Manage materials handling and inventory control within the manufacturing facility.
• Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that arise during production.

Skills

• Proficient in operating Fanuc systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), CNC programming, and CNC milling machines.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and tooling requirements.
• Experience with various manufacturing techniques including stamping press operations and materials handling.
• Ability to utilize hand tools effectively for assembly line tasks.
• Solid understanding of basic math principles for calculations related to production metrics.
