We’re seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our HR team and support the administration of employee benefit programs. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while managing a wide range of benefits functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), and transit benefits
- Conduct new hire benefit orientations and process enrollments/terminations
- Support FMLA, PFL, workers’ compensation, and COBRA administration
- Liaise with vendors, process claims, and audit monthly bills
- Maintain benefit records and run HRIS reports
- Assist with annual open enrollment and HR projects
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of benefits administration experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required (HR/related field preferred)
- Proficiency with Excel, HRIS (UKG/Kronos a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.)
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
