Summary

Our client is a well established Long Island based company with nearly 30 years of local operation in diverse markets including Residential, Medical, Retail/Commercial, and Self Storage. Thanks to their proven success and continued growth plans, they are looking for an experienced Estimator to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Identify new project leads through various resources
• Create and maintain project bid lists
• Create formal project proposals
• Maintain bid and project spreadsheets throughout
• Assist project managers and other stakeholders with qualifying subcontractor proposals
• Complete bid checklist while working with PMs and owners
• Sit in on subcontractor and project status meetings to provide expertise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Construction Estimating experience
• Familiarity with Estimating software like Onscreen Takeoff
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with subcontractor qualifying process
