The Superintendent will be responsible for all onsite activities including subcontractor coordination and supervision, jobsite safety, and inspections on the jobsite while assisting the Project Manager in the pursuit of a profitable and on-time project.

Job Description

• Oversee daily onsite operations of assigned construction projects
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and FLC labor and materials.
• Plan and review construction program including plan layout, equipment requirements and manpower.
• Coordinate, schedule, and maintain records of all project testing including concrete and soil
• Maintain as built drawings for final submittal
• Site layout and control of benchmarks
• Quality control procedures and requirements.
• Weekly project safety meetings and daily safety inspections.
• Interpret and apply all company safety policies to ensure these are adhered to.
• Daily update of schedule status with Project Manager.
• Daily record keeping for project including number of subs, trades, deliveries.
• Review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with plans for Architect and Engineer.
• Scheduling of Building & Zoning inspections.
• Review of invoices, requisitions and subcontracts.
• Final inspection & proper close-out documentation
• Work with Project Manager to establish monthly requisition to Owner.
• Assure the continued development of assembled staff.
• Have complete knowledge of and ensure that the project’s Equal Employment Opportunity requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction area, 5+ as Superintendent
• Strong project management and communications skills
• Ability to read construction documents
• Familiarity with Procore or similar software
