Our recruiting firm has doubled in size over the past two years. We are looking to add a Legal Recruiter with a history of success recruiting within the legal space. Job Summary:
As a Recruiter, your responsibilities include managing the recruitment process end to end including sourcing, prescreens, candidate write-ups, candidate management through interview process (scheduling, interview preps, debriefs), offer negotiation through closing the candidate. This entails expanding the market of Genuine Search Group’s services and delivering outstanding customer service to candidates.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing:
- Actively recruits on entry level up to C-Suite level roles, autonomously with minimal supervision
- Attends client intake meeting and translates meeting notes and jumps into a pipeline project independently (minimal oversight/help from the Manager); builds a fruitful search
- Identify/engage with active candidates utilizing a variety of sourcing techniques and screening them against agreed competencies
- Source candidates through various platforms and independently conduct candidate outreach, including independently constructing outbound messages to candidates.
- Brainstorms pivots & creative solutions during a search to recruit additional qualified candidates based off of client feedback, account manager feedback, and/or job ask pivots
- Identifies moments when there needs to be collaboration with Account Manager and peers
Phone Screens:
- Schedules phone screens with qualified candidates independently
- Identifies specific skill-set questions that need to be vetted for during screen that’s based off of the job intake independently (some collaboration with the Account Manager but recruiter is proactive in forming questions)
- Builds rapport with qualified candidates on phone call
- Assesses if candidate meets the job ask and communicates this to the candidate effectively
- Takes effective notes while maintaining an efficient phone screen
- Identifies next steps with the candidate prior to closing out the phone call
- Clearly communicates salary expectations, ability to push back when needed and independently discusses salary bands with the candidate about the specific role
Candidate Write Ups:
- Independently writes candidates up using notes from phone screen & identifying important skills from job intake call to include in write up. Minimal to zero edits from Account Manager.
Candidate Management:
- Independently schedules (if needed), preps & debriefs candidates independently
- Collaborates (when needed) and identifies moments when they need to manage up to AM/Manager during pre-close and closing stages
Other:
- Maintain relationships with candidates to gain industry knowledge and obtain referrals and new business opportunities
- Balance deadlines and deliverables for multiple searches at a time
- Record and maintain candidate information with a high level of detail within Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, and any additional team or client systems
Requirements:
- 2+ years of recruitment experience within the legal industry
- Detailed understanding of your market niche
- Ability to source and match candidates to positions
- Strong verbal / written communication skills
