Our client a 2nd generation family owned distributor that has almost doubled in size the last 3 years is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team. The role is open due to growth and you will be the right hand of the Controller while fully owning the books for one of the business units.

Responsibilities

• Assist Controller in month-end closing tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Utilize BI tools for financial data analysis, report generation, and decision support.
• Ensure project financial data accuracy and implement controls for data integrity.
• Analyze inventory pricing and develop strategies for optimization.
• Evaluate creditworthiness of new customers, manage credit limits, and develop credit policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related role.
• Proficient in Excel, financial software systems, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
