An entrepreneurial real estate firm specializing in affordable housing is seeking a Senior Asset Manager. This individual will oversee a portfolio of approximately 1,200 units, with plans for additional acquisitions. The role involves optimizing portfolio performance and supporting investment strategies to maximize returns. The position is based in New York City and reports to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial performance, adjust strategies, and optimize property operations.
• Oversee business plans, NOI, cash flow, capital improvements, and project timelines.
• Manage budgets, property managers, and leasing/marketing teams.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor market conditions, and develop value-add strategies.
• Execute investment strategies, including sales, refinances, and recapitalizations.
• Ensure compliance with agreements, loan documentation, and investor guidelines.
• Collaborate on acquisitions, dispositions, and due diligence processes.

Required Experience:

• Experience with asset management, specifically within NYC affordable rental properties.
• Experience with project-based vouchers and the application process.
