About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead corporate interiors and tenant improvement projects throughout the Austin market. This leadership role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring exceptional client service, operational excellence, and successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience overseeing fast-paced commercial interiors projects, managing multiple teams, and driving projects to completion on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of commercial interiors and tenant improvement projects from kickoff through closeout
- Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement, and financial reporting
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Oversee Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business opportunities
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Monitor project risk, scheduling conflicts, and cost impacts while implementing proactive solutions
- Lead project meetings, progress reporting, and executive-level communication
- Support business development, preconstruction efforts, and strategic planning initiatives
- Mentor and develop junior construction professionals within the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing commercial construction or corporate interiors projects
- Strong background in tenant improvement (TI), office build-outs, or workplace interiors
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong financial management and budgeting experience
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- PMP certification or LEED accreditation is a plus
